GB-Colchester: Electrical & Lighting Upgrade

Colchester Borough Homes wish to appoint a suitably experienced contractor(s) to undertake Electrical & Lighting Upgrade work at the following locations: Mary Frank House Electrical Upgrade Main distribution board has recently been upgraded however the secondary boards that feed the flats are old and in need of replacement. The aim of the upgrade is to ensure that each flat in the scheme has at least a 50a feed. John Lampon Court Electrical Upgrade Upgrade main feed distribution boards within the scheme, prices can be submitted to utilise the existing boards and upgrade components accordingly or replace the entire board. All flat feeds are to be upgraded from a 40a to 63a supply. Winstree Court Lighting Upgrade Improvements to communal lighting in ground and first floor corridors and communal lounge. Microwave sensors to be fitted in place of conventional switching, existing switches to be changed over to key switch. Luminaires to include emergency lighting. Contractors may apply for one or more of the three upgrade schemes. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
