Description
East Sussex County Council ('the Council') Adult Social Care and Health Department (ASCH) is looking for a provider of Adult Advocacy Services for East Sussex from October 2019 for 3.5 years, up to March 2023, with a further option to extend the contract for up to 24 months (to March 2025). Working with the three Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's) ESSC are commissioning this new Advocacy Service to support the delivery of Statutory Advocacy requirements, namely Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) and Care Act Advocacy. The Service Provider will be expected to demonstrate the ability to provide Independent Advocacy to Adults who fall outside of the statutory advocacy definitions within the contractual financial envelope, where an Adult has an Adult Social Care-related issue that could be appropriately supported by an Independent Advocate.
