TDC RP Tree Management Services - AWARD

Description

Tandridge District Council invites applications from suitably experienced Tree Surgeons who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the provision of Tree Management Services across the District. The overall purpose of this contract is to undertake the full range of arboricultural work within the district to ensure that: o The Council fulfils its duty of care with regards to the condition of its directly owned tree population to minimise any risk posed to an acceptable level. o The Council's trees start to be managed in a sustainable way, undertaking good tree management practice to retain as many of the existing mature trees as possible. The work shall be undertaken on several different types of location, typically public open spaces, verges, amenity areas, allotment sites, woodlands and council house gardens. The Council is looking to appoint a single contractor with a contract start date of 1st February 2021. As the value of the contract is above the EU threshold for Services a two stage Restricted process will be followed. Interested parties must first complete a Selection Questionnaire before being invited to tender for this contract.
