It is designed to meet the statutory requirements set out in the Healthy Child Programme, ensuring that all eligible children and their families receive appropriate support and interventions. The approach is evidence-based and guided by the Kent Public Health 0-4 Health Needs Assessment, which identifies local priorities and informs service delivery. This includes universal health reviews, targeted support for families with additional needs, and collaborative working with other health and social care partners to promote optimal child development, health, and wellbeing.
