WAV PT Phase 2/3 Refurbishment Works to Ockford Ridge - AWARD

Description

The Employer, Waverley Borough Council, wishes to carry out alterations and refurbishments (internal and external) to sixteen Properties located on Ockford Ridge, Godalming. Six of the properties Will have a full internal refurbishment and ten will have external works only. The estate was originally built in the mid 1930s and whilst routine maintenance has been carried out since together with periodic improvements - central heating; insulation and kitchen and bathroom fittings; windows and doors - the basic configuration and general amenity remains much as when first built. The houses therefore are small, difficult to heat and keep warm and poorly suited to the demands of modern living. This programme intends to 'modernise' these properties, largely by relocating bathrooms (upstairs) and refitting the kitchen to provide modern, more spacious kitchen / dining space on the ground floor. Additional refurbishment works will be included and the detail of the specification is attached in this Tender Information pack.
