9401 - Housing Maintenance & Improvement Works Programme - MM Type Blocks of Flats - Portway Place and Hall Road, Norwich - AWARD

Norwich City Council requires a single supplier to provide structural and civil engineering maintenance and repair works to tenanted low rise properties which are being managed by NPS Norwich Ltd - Property Services Team.

Maintenance and repair works are required to a range of structural defects which relate to (but may not be limited to): -

The scope of works comprises of 2 three story residential blocks of flats with common external stairways and landings within similar residential estates.

Scope of works comprises of:

Repairs and over coating of the external reinforced concrete access deck membranes, renewing movement joints in access decks, replacing existing deck railings with new galvanised steel railings, with new 'warm feel' handrail cuppings and repairing cracks in brickwork.

In addition to the works above, concrete repairs and over coating of commons staircase and landings and redecoration of timber rail and metal post balustrading to staircase.
