A FRAMEWORK COMMISSION for APPOINTMENTS TO DRC AND INSURANCE ESTIMATES at VARIOUS SITES IN THE SOUTH WEST and ISLE OF WIGHT - AWARD

Description

Services to be undertaken by the Consultant The Consultant Quantity Surveyors (QS) will be required to provide estimates & elemental cost plans in accordance with NRM1 produced by the RICS and recognised as the Industry Standard. (1) The Consultant shall undertake the Services applicable to the role of Quantity Surveyor as outlined in Clause 2.9 (Descriptions of Service) of the Appointment Particulars. (2) The following services will not be applicable to the services to be performed by the Consultant. Services in Annex 0, Annex 3 and Annex 8 (3) The Consultant shall provide the following additional Services together with the Services listed in clause 2.9 (Description of Services) of the Appointment Particulars. The provision of replacement asset cost estimates to enable asset valuations to be calculated by others, for the assets mentioned in Schedule 1. The detailed estimate and elemental cost analysis are to be provided on an individual asset basis, on a like for like or a notional basis, in accordance with the RICS New Rule of Measurement NMR1 (for Order of Cost Estimating and Cost Planning generally and part 3 & 4 of that document in particular) and incorporating the Guidance to Consultants contained in Schedule 3. Consultants will also be expected to have examined carefully the example in Appendix 1(at the end of Schedule 3) which details the level of measurement and pricing needed to produce the estimates required by this commission.
