Economic Viability Assessment

Preparation of a viability assessment to inform and support an updated Local Plan for Herefordshire. Hereford Council is currently updating the Core Strategy which was adopted in 2015 and the new Local Plan will guide future development of the County to 2041. This is a comprehensive update of the strategy. A viability assessment of the whole draft Regulation 18 Part 1 plan is required to: • inform the robustness of the policies and proposals • demonstrate the deliverability of the strategy and policies • help develop the process of infrastructure delivery planning • develop background work to inform the preparation of a charging schedule for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) or its replacement.
