TARGET AUDIENCE: Support staff working in Primary Secondary and Special Schools
COURSE OUTLINE AND PURPOSE: This course is designed to meet the needs of any school-based staff required to provide first aid and welfare duties to pupils.
KEY OBJECTIVES: To cover the following: • Emergency aid • Everyday accidents and relevant first aid treatment • Accident reporting procedures • Special needs e.g. epilepsy, diabetes, asthma
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Health and Safety QCF in Supporting Teaching and Learning level 2/3 Numbers 3 Certificate in First Aid
