Economic value of arts and culture in the North of England

The Arts Council England is seeking a supplier to conduct research which looks specifically at how the arts, museums and libraries sectors contribute to the economy in the North of England (North West, North East, Yorkshire and Humber). The overall aims of the research are to: • Ensure Arts Council England (North Team) and the arts and cultural sector in the north have a clear, robust and evidence-based understanding of the contribution that arts and culture make to the northern economy; • Gather essential insight into the nature of this contribution to inform the development of policy
