The National Measurement System (NMS)

The National Measurement System (NMS) provides the UK with an infrastructure of laboratories that deliver world-class measurement science and technology and provide traceable and accurate standards of measurement. The impacts of the NMS are cross cutting, spanning many sectors of the economy, as well as a range of socioeconomic objectives and societal challenges. Consequently, the top-level management of the NMS programme is structured around a series of challenge areas, one of which is 'Life Science and Health'. This RFQ seeks a scoping study aimed at strengthening the impact evidence that Life Science and Health (LSH) could use during government spending reviews and in the submission of business cases.
