T0496 - Lifting Equipment and Racking Inspection

The purpose of this tender is to identify a contractor(s) to undertake the six-monthly inspection of lifting gear and accessories and the annual inspection of racking across Trinity House's operations. In addition to the inspections, a key deliverable of this tender process is the establishment, maintenance and administration of a database for the control of all lifting accessories across Trinity House. The inspections will normally be conducted either at a Trinity House site, i.e. Harwich, Swansea and St Just, or in the case of lifting gear, aboard a Trinity House Vessel while moored at a Trinity House site or on rare occasions at another port in the UK.
