Description
Given the internal and external environments, there is a need to make much more intelligent use of our research information to inform investment and strategic decision making with the aim of supporting academics, increasing our research performance, and generating more effective return on the investment in research workload allocations. The University currently has a number of disparate systems and processes which are used to manage research and its associated information and outputs, including the research bids and awards database, the University of Salford Institutional Repository (USIR), the ethics applications and approval process and Banner for storing PGR student records. Six distinct areas of service have been identified and have been split into three lots. They are as follows: Lot 1 - Bids & Awards Contract Management, REF preparation & submission and Research outputs repository. Lot 2 - PGR Progression Lot 3 - Ethics Applications and Approvals For full tender information and to express an interest, please visit the University's InTend portal via: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/salford/aspx/Home. Additional information: For full tender information and documents please visit the University's InTend portal.
