Forensic Property Marking Kits and Services

Northamptonshire OPFCC is looking for a supplier of chemical trace liquids (taggants) to run crime prevention campaigns and identify lost/stolen property. In addition to the provision of the kits, the chosen supplier will also need to provide the below services for a three year period within the contract price: Performance Dashboard and Reporting- enabling the force to take a data led approach to tackle burglary hotspots. A Forensic laboratory analysis service ( in ISO17025 accredited labs). This service will allow police upon identification of stolen property to send the forensic submission off for testing to identify the owner. Access to a Police Liaison Manager representative to support with relevant training to support implementation of residential and second-hand dealers' schemes. Training support for front line officers, custody, and property inputs. • Support literature to accompany the kits explaining how to use. • Provision of a discount scheme whereby members of the public can purchase forensic marking kits at a discounted rate from the supplier if provided by a code by Northamptonshire OPFCC.
