L363 Ditchfield Road

Description

The purpose of the contract is to create a remembrance garden on an underused roadside green space on Ditchfield Road, Widnes. Halton Borough Council are working in partnership with the Friends of Hough Green on the project. The works comprise external works to the green space to include; removal of the existing structures (fencing and benches); partial removal of existing tarmac surface and base course; supply and installation of steel knee rail; supply and laying of new resin bound gravel surfacing binder and surface courses to paths and a circular space; supply and install entrance stone piers and bollard; supply and install new benches and interpretation board; supply and install shrubs, bulbs, trees and ornamental planting.
