## Description

The procurement of the Supply, Maintenance and Advertising of the Bus Shelter Contract has now had to be abandoned\. This is due to the receipt of a large number of clarifications, where it is felt that the specification requires further work that collectively may amount to a material change to the requirements\. In addition, following clarifications received, a new set of concession contract terms and conditions will be prepared and a further review and update of the specification will need to be completed\. Therefore as a result, there now may be a need for further soft market testing concerning the age of bus shelters and any other key issues of concern raised in the clarifications\. Once this further review is completed, a new tender will be issued to market\. Communication regarding the abandonment was provided directly to bidders/prospective bidders on 21/12/23 via the Pro-Contract messaging facility for tender ref: DN694424\.
