## Description

The EDGE application is currently the only Local Portfolio Management System that is currently capable of storing participant identifiable data securely and compliantly, as well as being integrated into the Central Portfolio Management System\. Participant identifiable data is crucial to the management of participants of clinical research studies and migrating away from systems with this capability would significantly impact the ability of the clinical care teams to manage their participants
