Cambridge City Council - Campkin Road Community Centre (CRCC) Operator

The Council is offering a 5 year Lease and Concession Agreement (and a further period up to a maximum of fifteen years in total) for the exclusive right to operate the newly constructed Campkin Road Community Centre for the core purpose of providing a multi-purpose community space for creative, learning and general community activities. The new community centre has been constructed to replace two older, less accessible community facilities (37 Lawrence Way and Nuns Way Pavilion), and it has been constructed as part of a residential scheme to replace outdated housing as part of the council's new homes programme. A layout plan for the new centre with room sizes is included at Appendix 1. The terms of the community centre lease and Agreement will be an annual rent for as set out within the draft lease and concession contract. The lease sum will be reimbursed in full to the operator in the form of an annual grant payment as part of the concession contract.
