Work description
The Centre for Process Innovation, Ltd (henceforth referred to as 'CPI') is expanding to open a new National Centre for Healthcare Photonics, which includes a suite of laboratories that must be equipped from scratch. The laboratories will cover technical activities within optics, bio-optics, molecular biology, chemistry, radiology, electronics, and electrical and mechanical engineering. In addition to the laboratory-based work, the National Centre for Healthcare Photonics will also include a design and manufacturing capability incorporating optical, illumination, mechanical, and electronics elements, for which capabilities are required for analysing, testing, evaluating validating electronic systems with optical components. In particular, this capability includes PCB and microprobe station, voltage/current amplifiers, digital lock-in amplifier, tracking spectrum analyser and digital delay line generator. The spectrum analyser is also required to perform pre-conformance EMC tests on prototype devices.
