## Description

These works have been broken down into 4 different work packages, they include: - Package 1- Kingsway Box Sewer Works • Undertake localised concrete repairs to the covered approaches \(where necessary\)\. • Mortar repair to brickwork • Removal of vegetation growth from the structure\. • Cleaning and repainting of the protective paint coating to the surface of the Gatic cover beams\. Package 2- Covered Approaches - Repairs • Undertake localised concrete repairs to the covered approaches \(where necessary\)\. • Remove of vegetation growth from the structure\. • The raking out and replacement of the expansion joint sealant\. • The further investigation of the water ingress at vent shaft VS11 in the Liverpool Covered Approach\. • Remove all temporary access systems and support structures and make good the existing structure\. Package 3- Covered Approaches- Painting • Undertake localised cleaning of all concrete members via hand scraping and • pressure washing to remove existing anti-carbonation coating\. • Painting of new anti-carbonation coating to covered approaches\. Package 4- Retaining Walls and Overbridges • Extension of outfall pipes\. • Replace missing bolt to infill mesh\. • Replacement of a failed manhole\. • Make safe exposed electrical cables\. • Re-bed dislodged copings\.
