Provision of a Specialist Residential Respite Service for Adults with a Learning and/or Physical Disability (and Sensory Impairment)

Barnsley Council is looking to establish a contract with a provider for a respite service, providing residential respite service to adults with a learning disability and/or a physical disability (and sensory impairment).

The Provision of a Specialist Residential Respite Service for Adults with a Learning and/or Physical Disability Contract started on 1st June 2019 for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for 2 periods each of 12 months. The initial 2 years total value was £606,290. This was published on Contracts Finder in 2019 under the reference: DN390681, NPSBARNS001-DN390681-62501562. The Contract was then extended from 1st June 2021 till 31st May 2023 and the total value is £706,045. The above start date is incorrect and is a Contracts Finder error.
