SWT-EBI-188 Flooring to Communal Areas (HRA Blocks)

Description

The Council was seeking to appoint a suitably accredited and experienced contractor to undertake the removal of existing floor coverings, where present, and to supply and fit new non-slip flooring to communal area of Flat Blocks owned by the Council. This is a key project within the Councils capital programme. New flooring is required to be fitted to approximately 336 flat blocks of which 167 are identified as being a priority. The primary drivers for the programme are to improve the quality of the flooring in the blocks, the general safety of residents and to ensure all flooring meets all current fire regulations and best practice. In general, the flat blocks are two or three storey buildings with relatively small communal areas
