GB-London: 2022-SUS-012 -Industry Idling Reduction Initiative

Rail is embarking on a transformation. A 30-year strategy - the Whole Industry Strategic Plan (WISP) - will set a clear and unified direction for the railway. The UK Government has developed five strategic objectives for the WISP over the next 30 years: meeting customers' needs, delivering financial sustainability, contributing to long-term economic growth, levelling up & connectivity, and delivering environmental sustainability.

This project aims to progress on from this guidance note by achieving tangible idling reductions in key GB rail locations.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
