Description
Replacement of existing defected flexible surfacing within visitor bus turning area drop off and pick up locations due previous design for lighter vehicle movements has become unsuitable for the heavier more frequent single deck buses which have resulted in rutting within the pavement make up. Analysis and design work has been undertaken of the existing construction and a rigid concrete solution has been identified as the most suitable replacement to ensure a long lifetime of continued usage for the drop off and pick up locations the remaining area will remain a more flexible material but re-applied across the remaining area.
