Provision for Offshore Oil Spill Service (DESNZ - OPRED)

Description

The Nautical Institute (NI) provides accreditation of third-party oil spill response training providers within the oil, gas and maritime sectors of the UKCS. OPRED and MCA (who manage the Maritime sector) must ensure all companies handling incident response are aligned to ensure consistency and to protect the marine environment. The NI have extensive experience promoting professionalism, best practice and safety throughout the maritime industry (including offshore oil & gas).
