22 107 Fresh Start Accommodation and Support Service

The Council is seeking a provider for 'Fresh Start', which is a project to provide 8 units of self-contained emergency accommodation for residents with complex needs/ mental health, who have repeatedly failed in previous accommodation placements.

Residents will receive intensive support in the short term through a person-centred and trauma-informed approach, ensuring the service user is provided opportunities to access assessment, support, and treatment from relevant services. Residents are to be supported until they can move into move-on accommodation; be that their own independent accommodation or other step-down supported accommodation identified as being able to meet the needs of the residents. Providers must be able to deliver the required support, this should be included as part of their bid.
