East Block Demolition at County Hall

The project comprises of works to demolish the concrete-framed 1970's building, known as East Block, within the grounds of County Hall. The existing foundations are to be grubbed out and remaining services and drainage connections to be capped off and removed from the area. Works also include demolition of 7nr. temporary buildings, 5 of which are in the grounds of County Hall whilst the remaining 2 are located to the rear of 1 Racecourse Lane. A number of trees are to be cut down and the stumps and roots grubbed out and the surface levelled.
