Launchpad Aldershot

This Contract Award Notice is for the purpose of transparency only. This contract has been let for 2 years. There is an option to extend for a maximum further period of 2 years in total.

The Launchpad service provides community based leisure, occupational and vocational activities to service users with Learning Disabilities who may have previously attended Hampshire County Council operated day services in the area. Small groups of people (typically three or four people) are supported to participate in community based activities of their choosing. The provider will support people to consider meaningful, community based activities that enhance their skills and confidence and promote social inclusion. The service provider will work pro-actively to incorporate an outcomes focused approach to the delivery of services, with a view to the groups requiring less support over time, thus freeing capacity for new referrals into the service.
