Supply of LCV Vehicles and modifications

Description

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council covers an area of over 245 square miles in North Hampshire of which over 90% is rural. The rest of the borough is made up of villages, rural hamlets and countryside that includes 47 conservation areas. The Environmental Care Operations team maintains most of the green spaces in the borough, including, but not limited to sport pitches, parks and open spaces, play areas and road side verges as well as street cleaning and fly tip removal. The council has a requirement to purchase approximately fifteen LCV vehicles over the next 18 months and is looking to appoint a supplier to initially supply two vehicles with conversions. The remaining vehicles being 'called off' when required over the next 18 months. Additional information: A further competition was carried out utilising the TPPL framework HCC 1811097, lot 2 light and medium vehicles up to 12.5t.
