Works contract for the delivery of a modern cell call system to replace the current cell call system incorporated within Residential Units 1-4, CSU, Healthcare, and First Night Centre is failing, with only 5% of this system being auditable, therefore not meeting or complying with HMPPS/MoJ standards. The current system is obsolete, with minimal availability of replacement parts/spares and is no longer supported by the manufacturer due to its age. The intent is to provide a fit for purpose cell call system which meets MoJ Business needs and significantly reduces the potential operational and financial risks associated with faults and failures of the current system
