## Description

Quotations are invited to undertake a program of works which primarily involves the desilting of historic mill pond, followed by further earth works to modify the banks of the leats which will connect the pool to the main river\. This work needs to be completed and invoiced prior to the end of December 2nd 2016\. The Pikes Pool area in Redditch is a conservation area located to the eastern side of the River Arrow and to the south of the A4189\. Historically the area was used for milling and a series of ponds and pools which fed mills are still evident on the site along with remains of other control infrastructure\. Pikes pool itself forms one of these pools and it along with several others were disconnected from the main river arrow when the river was re-aligned by the development corporation in the 1960’s\. The deadline for submissions to Pro-contract Due North is 12 Noon Friday 19th August 2016 http://procontract\.due-north\.com Additional information: The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Due North Pro-Contract portal https://procontract\.due-north\.com to conduct this procurement exercise\. To gain access to the Invitation to Quote document, tenderers will need to register their company details at the above website\. Once registered, tenderers will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the tender documents\. Tenderers will need to electronically submit an expression of interest and an electronic copy of the ITQ will be sent as an attachment\.
