***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a competitive procurement exercise. Brief Description of Requirement The Renewables Obligation (RO) scheme is the UK's largest renewable electricity support scheme, with nearly 30% of the UK's total electricity supply coming from the scheme. The RO operates as three separate but complementary schemes covering England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. It launched in 2002 in Great Britain and 2005 in Northern Ireland and closed for new applications in 2017. Qualifying generating stations will continue to be supported until their accreditation expires, with the last payments due in 2037.
