Work description
SCDC is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide advice & guidance and compliance monitoring in relation to noise, vibration and construction related Best Practical Means (BPM). In particular:
a) To review and make recommendations, with full supporting evidence, on S61 Control of Pollution Act 1974 applications and consents for phases 1, 2 & 3 of Section 5 A14 Upgrade works consistent with the DCO, CoCP and associated documents, BPM and Control of Pollution Act requirements.
b) To provide expert technical advice and guidance in relation to ad-hoc enquiries and complaints from members of the public relating to Noise & Vibration: (BS5228) Control of Pollution Act 1974 related requirements BPM construction projects of a similar nature and scale to include review of proposed monitoring methodologies and analysis of results
c) To provide ad-hoc on-site compliance monitoring between 9pm - 4am Monday - Sunday in relation to BPM and noise and vibration measurement methodologies, evidencing breaches and making suitable recommendations
