Procurement of Civil Legal Aid Services in England and Wales from April 2021

Description

The Legal Aid Agency ("LAA") is inviting Applicants to submit a Tender for a 2021 Civil Legal Advice Contract ("CLA Contract" or "Contract") to provide Specialist Telephone Advice in the Education and / or Discrimination Categories of Law from 1 April 2021 as part of the LAA's publicly funded telephone-based Civil Legal Advice ("CLA") service. The LAA is seeking to award a total of six separate CLA Contracts: - 3 in the Discrimination Category; and - 3 in the Education Category In the Discrimination Category, we wish to award of 3 Contracts of equal size to 3 separate organisations. In the Education Category, we wish to award 3 Contracts to 3 separate organisations. Applicants will be able to bid for a 'Lot' depending on the volume of work they wish to deliver as follows: - Lot 1 - we are seeking to award 2 Contracts, each delivering 20% of the total volume of Education Contract Work; and - Lot 2 - we are seeking to award 1 Contract, delivering 60% of the total volume of Education Contract Work. An Applicant may bid in either Lot 1 or in Lot 2. An organisation may not bid in both Education Category Lots. An Applicant can only be awarded, and hold, one CLA Specialist Telephone Advice Contract in each Category of Law.
