Fizeau Interferometer

Supply, deliver, install and commission a Fizeau laser interferometer subject to the performance specification contained within the tender specification document.

If any of the technical specifications cannot be met, then this should be clearly stated in the tender return.

Due to the extreme surface quality of synchrotron X-ray mirrors, we require an interferometer with the highest possible imaging quality. Therefore, when reviewing tender returns, great importance will be placed on the performance of each instrument. In particular, we require an instrument with the best possible lateral spatial resolution, topography repeatability, and instrument transfer function (ITF) to accurately record the mid-spatial frequency content of the test surface.
