The Research and Innovation Transformation (RIT) directorate sit within the department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The RIT team are responsible for the implementation of the United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) a new non ministerial government body created under the Higher Education and Research bill (subject to Parliament).
