Work description
The Customer requires a Supplier to provide a same-day, point-to-point courier service with exceptional use of storage facilities. The service must be a fully tracked and auditable courier service to collect from and deliver to The Customer's offices and Supplier locations. The Customer is carrying out this further competition from the CCS Framework, RM RM3799 - Specialist Courier Services Framework Agreement. Lot 5: The Haulage, Storage and Disposal of Seized Goods. The Supplier will be capable of transporting seized or sampled items including, but not limited to:
• Electronic items holding data. • Documents. • Small quantities of tobacco/alcohol. • Fresh, chilled or frozen foodstuffs or agricultural products. • Fuel samples and other chemicals.
The Supplier must be able to maintain a chain of evidence (definition at Appendix C) as per Criminal Justice Act 2003 and Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
