Description
The aim of the Homeless Hub is to prevent homelessness by early intervention through advice, signposting, information, and support to those rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness. It supports strategic ambitions that are set out in the Council's Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2020 - 2025. The objective is to tackle homelessness amongst individuals and households through direct services and/or developing new ways of working with partners to generate housing and accommodation and access to service. The Council has a robust focus on prevention and early help with clients to mitigate homelessness as set out in the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy. This service is intended to strengthen the approach by providing effective support to residents to help them sustain, find and maintain their home.
