Description

Ofcom will require general legal support covering: Commercial contracts; Public procurement rules; Commercial litigation; Outsourcing/insourcing; Technology, Media & Telecoms; Intellectual property; Property, and Data protection. Ofcom require: • Ad-hoc advice on commercial procurement issues aligned to either Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015 or the new Procurement Act (PA) 2023 • Input on specific tenders & contracts, including: o Contract advice o Contract/clause drafting, and o Negotiation support (if required) • Advice on actual, or threatened challenges to conduct/outcome of procurement processes • Occasional refresh of standard template documents • Training seminars on new or proposed changes to procurement legislation • Annual update on relevant procurement case law where a review of current processes/templates would be recommended. • Bi-monthly procurement updates to Commercial Team Additional information: Contract was awarded via CCS Framework RM6179.
