Work description
"Boost is Lancashire's Business Growth Hub, one of 38 Growth Hubs in the UK. Boost is led by Lancashire County Council (LCC). Since 2013, it has supported over 14,000 businesses, helped create over 3,500 jobs while adding over £100m to the economy. Boost 5 is the renewed programme to deliver services to Lancashire from 1st September 2023. The Progamme will be split into 5 contracts (as detailed within the tender documents). Boost 5 is a partnership with the Local Distrit Councils within Lancashire and Lancashire County Council as the lead partner and commissioner for the funded core services. "
Additional information: The contract value is expected to be between £2,875,000 and £9,495,000, which includes flexibility for local district councils to utilise the services and potential for contract extension should additioonal funding be secured. Lancashire County Council is procuring the contracts for itself and on behalf of the partner local districts. The Local District Councils able to utilise these services are: Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Pendle, Preston, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Wyre, Blackpool, Lancaster, Ribble Valley and Rossendale.
