## Description

NHS Continuing Healthcare \(CHC\) supports individuals with some of the most complex needs to live in the community by funding their adult social care needs\. There are concerns that the existing approach to CHC does not deliver value for money in terms of outcomes for patients or the taxpayer, and that access to CHC is inconsistent and subject to unwarranted variation\. Ministers have therefore commissioned work to develop reform options
