## Description

The Environment Agency has appointed a specialist contractor to undertake horizon scanning and a literature review concerning novel medical radionuclides that may be adopted in England\. The work will identify emerging radionuclides, assess available evidence regarding their environmental fate and transport, compare findings with the Environment Agency's existing radiological assessment data, and identify evidence gaps and priorities for future research\.
