K2 Perinatal Training Programme

K2 perinatal training programme is required to enable midwives and doctors to complete mandatory training in fetal monitoring. This is a national requirement set in policy. This programme has been in use in the Trust for 10+ years and is used widely across NHS. All Devon providers use this programme. The training records of all staff are held on this platform too. For the CNST compliance we have to demonstrate over 80% compliance of fetal monitoring training or we will not achieve the requirements associated with CNST and will not receive the substantial financial rebate If we seek to change suppliers then any records of competency and compliance are lost. This will mean that staff have to commence a new programme of competency.
