Work description
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (The Council) wishes to engage Consultants with a high level of experience and expertise in leisure services and asset management. The Consultants will undertake a strategic and commercial feasibility study and propose a sustainable Borough wide Masterplan. The Masterplan will provide recommendations as to whether or not the following sites need to be replaced, upgraded or consolidated: i) Kingfisher Leisure Centre; ii) Malden Centre; iii) Tolworth Recreation Centre; iv) Kingsmeadow Athletics and Fitness Centre; and v) Chessington Sports Centre; The Masterplan will: i) Set out the component parts and shape of all future leisure facilities in the borough; ii) Provide recommendations and proposals setting out explicitly where leisure facilities in the borough need to be located; and iii) Provide cost forecasting detailing the estimated cost of all future leisure facilities in the borough.
