HCC - 10/18 - The Provision of Residual Waste Disposal Services - AWARD

This is a procurement for the provision of waste treatment/disposal services (as more fully described in the Specification) (the "Services") to assist the Council in carrying out its functions as a WDA.

As described in more detail in the OJEU Contract Notice and in Schedule 1 (Specification), the Council has a requirement for residual waste disposal services as an interim solution pending services commencement of the Council's long term residual waste treatment contract with Veolia ES Hertfordshire Limited.

The Council invites Tenders for the provision of treatment and/or disposal solutions for Contract Waste arising in respect of the Hertfordshire administrative area. Depending on capacity offered by Tenderers, the Council may award one or more Contract(s) in order to provide a total capacity at or around the Council's Estimated Tonnage Requirement of 253,000 tonnes per annum. The Service Term under the Contract(s) will be for the period from and including 1 April 2021 to and including 31 March 2023 (although extensions and the provision of advanced services are possible in accordance with the Conditions of Contract).

This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to 'express interest' which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.
