Cardiology System Enterprise Archive Upgrade

Description

This purchase was for the upgrade of our Enterprise Archive (EA) that is used by our cardiology system Centricity Cardio Workflow (CCW). The current EA server is on a storage platform that is out of contractual support; a risk as any failure could cause an outage of significant duration affecting both cardiac catheter laboratories and echocardiography service. The upgraded version of the EA will also ensure it is operating on the latest version, which will be compatible with the longer Microsoft life span. The CCW application and the EA itself are GE Healthcare proprietary technologies. Therefore changes/upgrades/enhancements can only be carried out by GE to ensure compliance with contractual terms and to maintain support of the system
