## Description

The University had a requirement for the purchase of a flight simulator\. The simulator was to be used to allow engineering students to experience flying different aircraft\. It needed to be immersive, give realistic feeling control and a wide array of data simulating real world conditions\. The following technical specifications were required: • To provide an immersive experience the simulator should feature either multiple displays and/or VR\. • The ability to simulate multiple different fixed wing aircraft\. • Different flight control options with a minimum of a single yoke and a flight stick\. • A minimum of a single seat included\. • Multiple displays showing live simulated data\. • Flight control switch panel \(this needs to be operational but doesn't need to be an exact replica of a specific aircraft\)\. • All computing requirements and software for operation should be included\. • Able to be powered using UK 3 pin plugs \(240v\)\.
