## Description

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport \(DCMS\) requires research services to gain a better understanding of the size and composition of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise \(VCSE\) sector within the markets in which it procures from, and to develop an understanding of the sectors appetite to participate in procurement opportunities\. The total budget, including extension options, is proposed at £85,000 \(exclusive of VAT\)\. The Department reserves the right to extend the contract for a further 3 months in increments of 1 month\. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises \(SMEs\)\. However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement\.
