WHC - Review of Local Authority Waste Management Arrangements in Hertfordshire

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is conducting this procurement on behalf of the Herts Waste Partnership (HWP), a partnership of all the Hertfordshire Boroughs and the County Council

The study will examine the current range of services provided by the HWP with a view to identifying recommendations for future improvement under the context of the likely requirements of the national Resources and Waste Strategy and the wider challenges faced by the sector. This will include a review of how materials are collected across the county as well as the administrative and management structures that support delivery of the combined waste collection, recycling, treatment and disposal service.
