WHC - SDLT Refund

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council has paid Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) on the purchase of properties over a number of years. The council has used receipts under section 19 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (this legislation covers 1-4-1 receipts).

The council understands that it may be possible to reclaim the SDLT paid and are looking for a supplier to support the council in making appropriate claims to HMRC.

The council has detailed records of SDLT paid including values paid, dates of payments made, reference numbers, property addresses. There are approximately 80 properties
